A prompt goes up - who is most likely to cancel plans at the last minute? - and everybody votes, in private, for somebody else at the table. You cannot vote for yourself, nobody can see a vote until they are all in, and the round closes early the moment the last one locks.
The votes are counted in front of everyone, with who voted for whom. The most votes gets a card they could not see coming - a drink, a dare, a compliment, a thumb war - and a tie is broken by one draw the whole table watches land. Nobody knows what the card will be until the votes are in, so nobody can aim it.
Everybody plays on their own phone, because the vote is private. Three players is the least - with two, both votes are forced and there is nothing to decide - and a table can go up to sixteen.
A prompt goes up for the whole table: who is most likely to arrive late even after saying they are already on the way, who is most likely to cry at a wedding. Everybody taps somebody and locks it in. Your own face is there too, greyed out, because you cannot vote for yourself.
The vote has a clock, and the host sets how long. If everybody locks in before it runs out, the votes are counted straight away. If it does run out, whatever was locked in stands and anybody who did not vote simply did not - the app never votes for somebody who did not.
The votes come up with who voted for whom - for the winner and the next closest - so the table can argue about it. Then the one with the most votes is spotlit.
A tie of two, three or more is announced as a tie, and a light runs round the tied players and stops on one. That one draw is made once, on the table, so every phone sees the same person land.
Whoever is picked turns a card. Some are a drink, some are for the whole table, some are a Truth or a Dare out of the same books the rest of PlayWeya uses, and some are nothing but a compliment or a free pass. A card that names somebody - choose a player to drink, choose someone for a thumb war - asks the winner to pick them on screen.
The card is done when the table says it is done, the way a dare is. Every card is over by the end of its round: nothing carries into the next prompt, and nobody is saving an immunity for later.
Every card comes round twice before any comes round a third time, and no prompt is asked twice until all two hundred have been.
Every prompt and every card is written in English and in Filipino. The host picks what the table reads, and anybody can switch their own phone to the other one from the table menu - it is the same prompt either way, and the Truth or Dare it draws follows the same setting.
