How to play Dragon Tiger
Also called Dragon vs Tiger
1–15 players
One card to the Dragon, one to the Tiger, and the higher one wins. The ace is low here and the king is high — the only game at this table that ranks them that way.
You back one of the three before the cards turn, and that is the whole game.
What a tie does
A tie is the one thing worth settling before you play, because tables differ. Backing the tie itself pays out at whatever the table has set.
For Dragon and Tiger bets, a tie can leave the stake alone, take half of it, or take all of it. It is a table setting rather than a rule, and it is the thing people are most often surprised by.
Playing Dragon Tiger with friends
Up to fifteen at a table, and nobody sits out — everyone is betting on the same two cards, so the whole table watches the same turn.
